On May 8 at 17:00 at the Leiden Law Faculty (Kamerlingh Onnes - A1.44), Leiden Shorts invites you to a short film screening and panel discussion with legal experts on international human rights.

This program features 3 short films, based in Iran, Venezuela, and Lebanon, which explore the ways in which people (and their relationships) are shaped by conflict, repression, displacement, and political instability. Through the lens of international humanitarian law, Dr. Henning Lahmann and Dr. Helen Duffy will reflect on the personal costs of political violence, human rights, and the possibilities and limitations of legal response.
