Welcome to the fourth official 100 Bridges Run/Walk in Leiden.
You walk or run over 100 bridges: from ancient stone arch bridge to brand new Singelpark bridge. A unique course over rivers, canals and moats that leads you to the most beautiful places in the historic city center.
The Trail
The 100 Bridges Run takes you along the most beautiful sites of the historic city center of Leiden. The buildings of the oldest university in the country, the Hortus Botanicus, the brand new Singelpark, the historic harbor, city gates, industrial monuments, a district full of special new architecture: Leiden shows itself from its best side. You can either choose the full 19 km version with 100 bridges or the shorter 12 or 8 km. If you prefer walking, you can choose your own distance. But the challenge of course is to walk all 100 bridges and 19 km.
