Who Can You Vote For?
In the municipal elections in Zoeterwoude, you have five political parties to choose from. Each party has its own candidates and election programme, and you can view the full candidate lists on the official Zoeterwoude election page.

Didn’t Receive?/Lost your Voting Pass?
If you haven't received your voting card or have lost it, you can request a new one. You can do this in the following ways:
- via the online application form , or;
- in writing up to and including Friday 13 March, or;
- At the town hall, until Tuesday, March 17, at 12:00 noon. Please bring your ID. Your old voting card will be invalidated and can no longer be used.
If you have been issued written authorization, you cannot obtain new voting pass(es).

Your voting card will show your nearest polling station. If your nearest polling station is busy, vote at a different one.
Written Power of Attorney
If you are unable to vote in person and cannot complete the authorization section on the back of your voting card, you can authorize someone else to vote on your behalf by requesting a written power of attorney (proxy). This is useful, for example, if you are abroad.
If you apply in time, the person you authorize will receive the proxy certificate by mail, which allows them to cast their vote for you.
