New IND Policy on Sponsorship and De-registration

Change on letters sent for change of sponsorship or de-registration

The IND has altered the process in which they inform applicants about their change of sponsorship or de-registration. Due to the large of notifications received by the IND with regards to these processes, the IND will now only send one response to these reports informing the individual that their application has been received. A second response will only be sent if the decision has consequences on the applicant’s right of residence in the Netherlands. This change will take place immediately and retroactively to all applications.
