Life Sciences Café

We would like to invite you to the next Life Sciences Café that will take place on 26 October. During this Life Sciences Café we will also take a moment to say goodbye to Ida Haisma and extend a warm welcome to Esther Peters as new director of the Leiden Bio Science Park (LBSP) Foundation.

Ida Haisma, a prominent figure in the Dutch life sciences & health community, will be stepping down from her role, leaving behind a remarkable legacy of contributions to the LBSP as well as the Dutch life sciences & health  sector in general. During this Life Sciences Café we will look back at some of her many accomplishments and express our gratitude for her dedication and commitment.

Simultaneously, we are very pleased to introduce Esther Peters. Esther Peters has earned her marks in building innovation ecosystems and establishing collaborations in the triple helix – most recently as Director of  the NL Space Campus. Her assignment will be to take the LBSP to the next level of professionalization and internationalization and further establish the LBSP as global hotspot for Life Sciences & Health and world-class innovation district.

This event is not only a moment of transition but also the perfect opportunity for professionals, researchers and entrepreneurs working at the LBSP to connect. The Life Sciences Café encourages participants to engage with one another and stimulate partnerships.
