Sunshine in Nosy Komba (SiNK) Festival is back on 3rd June 2023 in ESCAPE (ESTEC, Noordwijk)! You, your families and friends are very welcome to join for this fundraising event. A festival full of activities: football tournament, race, karaoke, quiz contest, squash tournament, Zumba, loads of food and drinks… Please note that registration is only needed to participate in the football tournament on Saturday 3rd June from 11:00 to 18:30. Sunshine in Nosy Komba (SiNK) Foundation is a Dutch foundation of Public Interest, created in 2011 as an initiative of an international group of volunteers. Read more about this foundation here. The foundation's goal is to build with Nosy Komba's population (a small island in the north-west of Madagascar) a model of self-sustained development, where all the components of a dignifying life are considered, based on democracy and people empowerment. SiNK supports development projects in education & health care.

All the funds raised through this event will help SiNK foundation support the running expenses of the school (with material and personnel) for the next year, guaranteeing that, even in these difficult times, École Banana will keep bringing the best possible education to more than 500 kids and the medical center will ensure medical care to the local population of more than 1000 people.

Note: the festival is only open to ESTEC employees on Friday 2nd June. On Saturday 3rd the festival is open to everyone.
