Welcome to Leiden Event
If you're new to the Leiden region, join our Welcome to Leiden information session! We'll provide you with all the information you need to settle into your new life here - from navigating public transportation to some useful Dutch words and phrases.
Our Welcome to Leiden Event will take place at the Tourist Information Office (the VVV) in Leiden, and is free to take part in! The event will begin with a brief introduction to how we at Leiden International Centre can help you, before providing some more information about the Leiden region and the Netherlands as a whole.
The second half of the information session will introduce you to the practicalities of living in the Netherlands, covering the basics such as the healthcare system, public transportation, and BSN registration. We will also provide some more information about job portals and banking in this section of the presentation.
Lastly, there will be a space at the end of the event for any questions that participants might have about living and working in the Leiden region!
