The Imperial Crowns are back in Leiden! These Americans exist alongside singer Jimmie Wood and guitarist J.J. Holiday, from drummer Ryan Dean and famous session bassist James Carter.
The band was founded in Los Angeles last century and is known for its super-energetic live performances. In Leiden and the surrounding area, the band has achieved cult status due to their legendary performances at Qbus. Their latest double album "25 Live" is a collection of, yes, 25 previously released songs, but performed live. These songs alternate at a murderous pace, harmonica, guitar, and drums. Rhythmic blues. Rocking and rolling cockiness. That famous live reputation is still being fully lived up to. "The Best Rock and Blues Road Show Ever" is back!
