An open water swimming match in Leiden's canals.
The Maresingel will once again be transformed into a large outdoor swimming pool. During the eleventh edition of Swim-in Leiden, over 500 recreational and competitive swimmers will engage in a competitive battle with the open water and each other.
The start and finish will be in the Huigpark. From there, swimmers will take to the water for distances ranging from 250 meters to three kilometres throughout the day. Students, competitive swimmers, and triathletes will compete for podium places and personal records (PRs). Recreational swimmers will strive for a good performance in the Singelpark.
